Evan Peterson - Eclipta Project
Our project focused on enhancing the brand presence and e-commerce experience for Eclipta, a start-up offering all natural eyelash and hair enhancement products. We aimed to align Eclipta’s evolving brand identity with a consistent and engaging digital customer experience across both Shopify and Amazon platforms.
I worked collaboratively with my teammates on multiple different aspects of the project. This included things like the heuristic analysis of the current Shopify Homepage and PLP. I worked on the analysis along with a couple other teammates, each of us covering our own different aspects of the heuristics and getting second opinions from each other.
I also worked with one other person to create the comparative analysis. Together we created a strong analysis and insights.
Another area of mine that was a collaboration was writing the interview protocol. I worked with team members to create a thorough protocol used in interviews.
I led a portion of a desk critique, specifically going over our comparative analysis of Eclipta’s direct competitors. Leading the desk critique allowed me to gain better presentation skills in a professional environment.
I also took initiative throughout the project, fixing different comments on the documentation left by Santhoshi, our PO. Doing this helped me build my confidence in taking initiative and build my leadership skills.
